Summary

We do not collect, store, or share personal data from the app. An optional one-time registration/unlock is processed by Google Play. Google handles all payment details; we never receive your card or billing information.

Scope

• The Dice Man Android app (package ID: uk.gowland.diceman).
• Email support you choose to send to dicemansupport@mikesapps.co.uk.

Data we collect

None via the app. The app uses no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or telemetry.

On-device app data (local only)

The app stores a few settings and counters on your device (e.g., dice preferences, sound/animation options, usage counts, and whether registration is active). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall (subject to your device’s backup settings).

Registration & purchases (Google Play)

Registration (lifetime unlock) uses Google Play Billing. Google provides a purchase status to the app (e.g., “unlocked”). We store only that status locally. We do not process or store payment data.

Sensors & permissions

If you enable “roll on shake,” the app reads the device’s accelerometer to detect shakes. This sensor data is processed on device only and is not transmitted.

Emails and support communications

If you email dicemansupport@mikesapps.co.uk, we will process the information you provide (your email address, message content, and any attachments) only as needed to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a short record of the correspondence.

• Purpose: Respond to your message and provide support.
• Storage: In our email system; not combined with any app data; not shared with third parties.
• Retention: Kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry and follow-ups, then deleted.
• No marketing: We won’t use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.

Sharing your data

We do not share data with third parties. Google acts as a separate controller for Google Play and payment services you use.

Your rights

Because we do not collect app data, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete. For emails you have sent us, you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting dicemansupport@mikesapps.co.uk.

Security

There is no backend server for the app. Local settings remain on your device. Email correspondence is protected by the safeguards of our email service.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no online features and no ads.

Changes to this policy

If our data handling changes, we will update this policy and the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or on our website.
